In an Oct. 12 ?Politics,? John Dickerson incorrectly stated that both a CBS poll and a CNN poll surveyed undecided voters. Only the CBS poll did so; the CNN poll surveyed registered voters in general.

In an Oct. 11 "Future Tense" blog post, Will Oremus misspelled the handle of the Reddit user who feared his identity would be exposed by Gawker's Adrian Chen. It was Violentacrez, not Violentacres.

In the Oct. 10 ?Supreme Court Dispatch,? Emily Bazelon misspelled Justice Sonia Sotomayor's first name. She also misquoted Justice Antonin Scalia as referring to a "vicious racial program" after mishearing him. He referred to an "ambitious racial program."

In an Oct. 8 "Future Tense" blog post, Amrita Khalid misidentified the website that Aymar Jean Christian edits as Hacktivism. He is editor of Hacktivision.

In an Oct. 8 ?Politics,? David Weigel stated that Working America is the AFL-CIO?s campaign appendage. It is their outreach appendage. This article also said that Shiprock, N.M., is in the northeastern part of the state. It is in northwestern New Mexico.

In the Oct. 8 ?Spectator,? Ron Rosenbaum stated that the core states of the Confederacy had voted solidly Republican in presidential elections since 1964. With a few exceptions, the core states have been a Republican bulwark in the 10 presidential elections since 1968.

In an Oct. 8 ?XX Factor? post Amanda Marcotte described Deborah Needleman at an editor at T Magazine. She is the editor.

In an Oct. 7 "Future Tense" blog post, John Villasenor incorrectly said that 1,250 miles was significantly less than the distance from Tehran to Tel Aviv. That is significantly more than the distance between the two cities.

In the Oct. 5 "DoubleX," Jessica Grose misspelled Stieg Larsson?s first name.

In an Oct. 5 "Pivot,"? Katy Waldman incorrectly identified the current CEO of Wendy's as Roland Smith. The new CEO of Wendy's is Emil Brolick.

In the Oct. 5 "Science," Scott Dodd misspelled the name of the author of the article ?Caring for Your Introvert? in the Atlantic.
