The Miami Wardog Youth Wrestling banquet was held recently at the Miami Municipal swimming pool. Awards were given to the group's 15 state qualifiers. Among those honored were (at front, from left) Cooper Stone, Jaydale Whitlock, Ian Stone, Kobe Scott, (back row) head coach Curtis Scott, Carlos Horcacitas, Dalton Whitlock, Levi Elsenpeter, T.J. Griffith and assistant coach Todd Stone. At right, Kobe Scott was honored for finishing as runner-up in Division III at 90 pounds in the state tournament. Scott is a five-time state placer and is recognized as one of the top youth wrestlers in Oklahoma.
