hmmm without seeing the numbers doesn't look right to me - i wouldn't expect mac to shrink for example, might be flat.

I don't think mac numbers shrunk, that is just an illusion due to the steepness of the slope. If they put iPhone sales on the top, the rest would look mostly the same.

Jay Yarow chart if Apple quarterly earnings for past several years is offset by one quarter. Chart has peak revenue at the Sep XX quarter for each year. Of course revenue peaks for the Dec XX quarter each year - as per the peak shown for Dec '11. Somehow an extra quarter got in there. Jay Yarow email address link in inoperative - leads to error page.

So, Apple reported they have now sold 315 million iOS devices in total or 65 million since hitting 250 million at the end of last quarter. So that means 8 million iPod touches in addition to 37 million iPhones and 15 million iPads. That also means Apple sold on average 715,000 iOS devices per day over the last quarter as opposed to the 700,000 Android devices per day. Apple is well and truly back in the quarterly unit sales lead versus Android worldwide as well as in the USA as well as being far and away the leader in mobile OS installed base, cell phone manufacturer profitshare, app developer income, app numbers, music sales, tablet sales, mini-tablet sales, smartphone manufacturer unit sales etc etc. Android is well and truly in second place on just about every count again.

Please dredge up some of the comments about the iPad just after its initial release. You know, the ones about "who would buy this?", "what a joke", etc. Ha! Same things were said about the iPhone (and some still maintain that the iPhone sucks, those losers). AAPL under $500 is a screaming bargain.
