Can a POA be removed by the family a person without that persons ...

My father-in-law passed away this Monday, he lived with his mother and his sister. His mother owns the property as far as we can tell she still does, his father bought the farm in 1962. The lady that was his POA is also his mother?s POA. My husband and his sister were told that there MIGHT be another life insurance out there but no one knew for sure. My husband went up to the house three days after Pop?s passing and found his room trashed. His stuff was thrown on the bed and things missing. He questioned his aunt on who was in the room and found out that the POA was there the day before and started getting rid of stuff. The POA showed up at the house and stated that his father wanted her husband to have his tools. His father also had rare coins that came up missing as well. My Husband the day after his father?s passing removed several guns from the residents due to his grand mother having dementia and his aunt having mental issues, the guns were removed which his father had given to him on his death bed, but mainly for safety reasons is why the guns were removed quickly from the home. This POA?s sister was married to my husband?s uncle which would be a brother to his dad. Several years ago they wanted his grand mothers land which is 10 ac?s she would not sell. now here sister is the POA and some people state that alot of his grandmothers antiques were gone from the home and this POA furnished her home with them. Tues after meeting with the funeral home, everything was dumbed on my hsuband to come up with the 0 which does not make sense why we were responsible for it if he had another life insurance in a bank locked up. And not to mention today after the funeral they started handing my husband the folder with the signature book, cards and death certificates which my husband requested one and the rest were to go to his father?s POA, she proceeded to take the folder and then left the cemetery ASAP. when comfronted at the get together about him wanting the book she stated that she did not have it with her that the folder was in her car in New Oxford well there is no way that she drove back to New Oxford and was able to beat everyone back to the get together. trying to find a way to have her removed to save the families farm, the comment was made that she was going to have grandma placed in a home. What can we do
I was POA for my grandmother and I do know that it ends at the time of death (though the nursing home insisted that I was still POA idoits) but anyhow. There was a will years and years ago that had my husband and sister in law as the beneficery, but after his father?s accident his mother took care of all his finance she cashed in the policy to put siding on the house. Now this other will that is somewhere though the POA states she doesn?t know who it is through or where it is but he paid it every month at least we are told that there might be another will. No idea who is the beneficery, his father did not have an estate since he lived with his mother and she still owns the property. She has good days that she knows what is going on and then there are other days she doesn?t. Unknoiwn if she has a will or not and who the executor of the estate is. My father-in-laws lady friend stated to me today that as far as she knew he did NOT have a will???? There are red flags going up everywher
I ment to say a life insurance policy not will years ago from the place that he worked and ? another one now somewhere in a bank somewhere
