Eric & Sean Break Down The Thor, Captain America, And Guardians Of The Galaxy Comic-Con Footage

Marvel Studios has done it again. Just like they have for the past few years, the comic book movie makers once again brought their A-game to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con and managed to completely blow fans? minds in the process. Presenting footage from Alan Taylor?s Thor: The Dark World (introduced by Tom Hiddleston?s Loki in full costume), Joe and Anthony Russo?s Captain America: The Winter Solder, and James Gunn?s Guardians of the Galaxy, and having Joss Whedon announce the title for The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Marvel panel was once again one of the best events to attend during Comic-Con. And few were as amazed by what they delivered as our own Eric Eisenberg and Sean O?Connell ? as you can see in the video blog above.

In addition to thrilling the audience with footage that was packed with action, drama and plenty of humor, perhaps the greatest thing about Marvel?s panel tonight was the fact that all three upcoming titles look so completely different. While the Thor sequel looks like a real cool piece of dark fantasy, Captain America 2 has the feel of a slick conspiracy thriller, while Guardians has clearly been inspired by the great sci-fi epics ? particularly Star Wars. Adding in the noir-ish/Tom Clancy mystery that was Shane Black?s Iron Man 3, Marvel Studios looks like it?s all about mixing up various genres in its Phase Two plans and we couldn?t be more excited to see how it all turns out.

But as we mention in the video, the title Age of Ultron makes us wonder what the future holds for Ant-Man. Edgar Wright has been attached to direct a movie based on the hero since 2006, the film is scheduled for release in November 2015, and the filmmaker has gone on the record saying that the project is an origin story, but how can you tell the story of Ultron without Hank Pym? It?s a big question that we will probably have to wait a few years to learn the answer too.

But what are you most excited to see happen in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Do you have any theories about how the rest of Phase Two is going to play out leading into The Avengers sequel? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and check out the full gallery of Marvel artwork that was released earlier this evening!
