Mayor adds $10K to Crimestoppers reward in fatal hit-and-run of NOPD officer

New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu said on Monday that he donated $10,000 from his campaign fund to Crimestoppers to raise the reward for information in the fatal hit-and-run of an NOPD officer.

The money was donated to aid in the arrest and indictment of the driver of a 2011 or 2012 white Porsche Panamera who killed Officer Rodney Thomas on the I-10 eastbound near the High Rise on Sunday.
